'I Came to PSG to win Champions League' :- Neymar


Neymar says he joined PSG to have a better chance of winning of Champions League - The Brazilian won the Champions League in his second season with Barcelona in 2015 - He says the target for his new club is to win Europe's top club competition Neymar says he quit Barcelona for a record move to Paris Saint-Germain because he wanted to rewrite history at the French club.  

The £198m Brazilian believes the Ligue 1 club have a better chance of winning the Champions League than Barcelona. Neymar won eight trophies during his four seasons at the Nou Camp, including the Champions League in 2015. 




“One of my biggest reasons for joining PSG was to help the club write history," the Sun quotes him saying. "The Champions League is not the only trophy we want to win — but it is a very important trophy. “The aim this season is to try and win it — that is the level the club are now at.  I do believe we are capable of winning the tournament. “Not only do we have the quality but we have the experience — the players who know what it takes to win the Champions League."



PSG's first match in the Champions League this season is against Celtic on Tuesday, September 12. The Brazilian who has scored four goals this season is expected to play up front alongside Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.
